A New Chapter Begins

She's In The House!

She's In the House!

Things had been going well for Delaney and Gage, until a burglar made off with the only light in the house. They both called the police, but it was to no avail. Oh well, at least the bed’s still there!

Catching Up

Catching Up

Delaney has been feeling a little nauseated, so she spends the next evening catching up on another book Connor’s asked her to read while Gage works out at the pool. She also starts using her journalistic skills to interview some of her friends.

Excuse Me?

Excuse Me?

Delaney invites Cycl0n3 over and interviews him. She wasn’t sure if he would feel awkward about her hasty marriage to Gage, but he seems cool – until he insults her tiny, humble home. Sure, she’s not rich like him. But at least she has a life! She decides to write a scathing article about her former friend. Maybe that’ll teach him to let jealousy ruin a good thing.

Who Needs Simoleons?

Who Needs Simoleons?

She’s insulted and embarrassed, but going inside and seeing Gage reminds her of just how happy she is now. He doesn’t even realize how wonderful he’s made her life, but Delaney thinks about him all the time. Later that night, she feels a strange sensation that awakes her from her bed. What could it be?

A Little Bump in the Night

A Little Bump in the Night

It’s official. Delaney Wood is pregnant! The journey of their family is finally beginning.

Business as Usual

Business as Usual

Delaney uses her vacation time to get ahead in her work. She continues interviewing and writing articles – all good, of course – about her friends. As the days pass, she can feel her baby growing inside. When she’s not writing, she’s reading books on pregnancy.

An Apple a Day

An Apple a Day

Delaney makes sure she’s eating healthily for her baby. The apple trees are producing enough food to live off of until they find the money for a refrigerator and stove.

You Called?

You Called?

Gage is excited about the baby, too. He and Delaney both wish for a girl, although they know they’ll be happy with a healthy baby, regardless of gender. Then, one day, as Delaney’s working on an article at the Library . . .

Ooh!

Ooh!

Aah!

Aah!

Her water breaks. She hurries to the hospital to give birth to her first baby, her mind swimming with thoughts of what will happen next. Will it be a boy or a girl? What will they name it? Where’s Gage?!

Super Dad!

Super Dad!

Gage races out of the library after his wife. He had been reading a pregnancy book himself to better understand what she was going through, just a room away. She was so excited, of course, that she forgot he was there. He makes it to the hospital just in time to witness the birth of his first child.

It's a Boy!

It's a Boy!

Delaney emerges victorious with her baby. It’s a boy! She can already tell he’s easily impressed with everything around him, and he sends off an aura of pure goodness. Delaney and Gage are instantly smitten with their little boy.

Lullaby . . .

Lullaby . . .

Delaney takes their little boy home and gives him his first bottle. She snuggles him and puts him to bed, thrilled with the new addition to their family. Gage and Delaney watch him with admiration, and give him a name.

Meet Theodore Wood!

Meet Theodore Wood!

His name is Theodore Wood. As little Theo looks up at the ceiling of his new home, he doesn’t think about the responsibility that might befall him as he grows older. Will he be the heir of the Wood Legacy? Only time will tell. For now, he’ll slip into a peaceful slumber of naive bliss.
